August 2019 Hays Area Real Estate Update

Robert Readle here with your summer market update - selling season is in full force here and we are seeing homes fly off the market this summer. The median number of days on the housing market is the lowest it's been in three years. This is probably a direct result of low inventory. We have about 14% fewer homes to choose from this summer, but the best news is that we are starting to see ALL price ranges come back to life - even the homes $300k +.

Interest rates have fallen recently and this may be helping encourage some of the buying activity across the board. So if you have been thinking about selling, now may be a great time to reach out to us.
